This summer, a new kind of festival lands in the Somerset hills. Headlined by iconic names Trevor Nelson, Norman Jay MBE and more, Valley Fest Presents…Lake Paradiso offers a weekend of heavyweight names and laid-back energy - blending music, movement and moments of real restoration. Tickets are now on sale for £99 for the full weekend here.
Running from Friday 1 to Sunday 3 August 2025, Lake Paradiso - from the team behind the award-winning Valley Fest - transforms Nesta Valley, a striking private site in Chew Magna, into a limited-capacity festival space with panoramic views, a natural lake at its centre and an atmosphere built for connection and escape.
Today marks the festival’s official launch - and the unveiling of its full music line-up. Leading the charge are Trevor Nelson, one of the UK’s most respected DJs and broadcasters, and Huey Morgan, BBC 6 Music regular and frontman of Fun Lovin’ Criminals. Joining them are genre pioneers Incognito with a full live set, and the legendary, whose collaborative performance promises a dose of high-octane drum and bass energy.
They’re joined by disco-funk royalty Odyssey and the ever-iconic Norman Jay MBE. Soul powerhouse Terri Walker adds vocal weight to the bill, alongside jungle legend Jumping Jack Frost and drum and bass mainstay DJ Die. With a line-up that spans eras and genres - from disco to DnB, soul to global grooves - the programme has been carefully curated to move bodies and lift moods.
The line-up also includes Beautiful People, BobaFatt, DJ Diggz (Freed), Graham S, Greensleeves Hi-Fi, Luke De-Sciscio, Mark Anderson, Mikey Stardust, Simon Lloyd, Sofar Sounds, Super Charge Sound System, T Bone and The Sly Players - creating a multi-stage soundtrack shaped by depth, discovery and rhythm.
At night, the energy builds. The festival’s dancefloors are intimate, eclectic and expertly programmed, with late-night mischief courtesy of a Shimmy Discotheque takeover and a soundtrack that leans into the soulful, funky and unexpected. Every sound system is handpicked. Every space is intentional.
But Lake Paradiso isn’t just about who’s on stage. Designed for those who crave more than a field and a few stages, the festival brings together wild spa rituals, wood-fired saunas, hot tubs, handcrafted Bedouin tents and a curated programme of yoga, movement and wellness designed to help guests reset, not just rave.
The lakeside Wild Spa will offer outdoor treatments and thermal rituals in a natural setting, with breathwork and open-air sessions running throughout the weekend. As the day unwinds, the focus shifts to Bar Paradiso - an open-air courtyard celebrating Somerset’s finest chefs, producers and mixologists. From seasonal plates and natural wines to lakeside cocktails and soundtracked sunsets, it’s a space designed for gathering and slowing down.
With a strictly limited capacity, Lake Paradiso offers a more intimate, elevated alternative to the mainstream festival format - a weekend that feels genuinely transportive, not transactional.
“We wanted to create something that feels more like a celebration than a spectacle,” says Luke Hasell, founder of Valley Fest and co-creator of Lake Paradiso. “Somewhere people can dance, eat, reset - and feel part of something real. Lake Paradiso is about connection, not chaos. It’s small by design and every detail is intentional. We’ve built it for the kind of weekend we’d want ourselves.”
Whether it’s sunrise yoga, a cocktail by the lake, a firelit dancefloor or a set from one of the UK’s most iconic DJs, Lake Paradiso promises a festival experience that feels both fresh and unforgettable.
Weekend tickets are on sale now priced at £99 via lakeparadiso.co.uk. Capacity is limited and early booking is strongly advised.
