Last updated: 23 November 2022
The Government set legal limits for pollution and Bristol needs to introduce a Clean Air Zone to ensure it meets those limits within the shortest possible time. Bristol’s zone starts on 28 November 2022.
You can use the government’s compliance checking tool (GOV.UK) to check if your vehicle would be charged. The restrictions in Bristol will mirror those already in place in Birmingham, so if your vehicle is compliant in Birmingham it will be compliant in Bristol.
A map and further information about the Clean Air Zone in Bristol can be found on the Bristol City Council Clean Air Zone hub.
We will be updating this page with more resources and information during 2022.
