Silver Membership Benefits

Digital

Depending on your location, silver members can maximise the support of our Visit Bristol or Visit Bath brands. We have built up two formidable digital consumer platforms, with the Visit Bristol and Visit Bath websites, consumer newsletters and our social media following. We use all of these platforms to share our destination information with our audiences, who include both visitors and locals.

Members receive a business listing on either the Visit Bristol or Visit Bath websites as well as the opportunity to add additional listings which are perfect for advertising another area of your business e.g cafe or spa. Each listing includes five images and the option to add special offers, social media feeds, and live availability through TXGB. 

While each business will have its own pages, we aim to ensure that this dedicated content can be found by connecting you to our inspiration pages. We work with our members to create and share new content through platforms like our monthly competitions, the Visit Bristol and Visit Bath blogs, (which regularly receive 70k+ views a month), and our seasonal campaigns.

Events & Networking

As a regional destination marketing organisation our members are more connected than ever. We work with over 700 businesses across the region, meaning each member gets to be part of something bigger.

Our exclusive member events and workshops offer opportunities to network with other businesses as well as hearing from industry leaders. Silver members receive one complimentary invitation to all these events.

Press and Travel Trade

While we control, manage, and grow our own channels, it is critical that we work with influencers, writers and broadcasters to help them research, experience and share the best of Bristol, Bath and the surrounding rural and coastal areas to their audiences. Our Media Liaison Managers co-ordinate press and media trips for journalists, bloggers and influencers and regularly create and share press releases, so providing a pro-active approach to earned media.  

Silver members have the opportunity to be fully engaged in this work and where possible we will link up writers and broadcasters with members who best match their particular brief or audience. This not only brings press coverage to our members but benefits the whole region, inspiring visitors through local, national and international coverage. 

Silver members also have access to a range of specialist marketing opportunities to the groups and travel trade market. This can include advice, training, familiarisation visits with appropriate buyers, opportunities to collaborate at relevant events, as well as targeted enews and social media. It also includes full listings on relevant pages of our Bath & Bristol travel trade website (Spring 2021).

Silver members are able to get involved in our monthly competitions that give the public the chance to win unrivalled experiences from our members. These can be a great way to a promote a new product or service and provide fantastic exposure for your business.

Additional Advertising Opportunities

At any point during your membership, you can take advantage of exclusive member discounts for a range of additional advertising opportunities. This includes our official Bristol & Bath publications and digital opportunities like featured website pages, web banners and sponsored blog posts. These are a great way to secure further and more targeted coverage.

Support & Information

Every single member is directly supporting the development of our fantastic region as a visitor destination. You will be part of a collaborative partnership championing visits for leisure and business right across Bristol, Bath and the west of England. 

We are available to all members to offer support and help keep you updated with the latest industry news. Members will be sent our weekly industry e-news, receive exclusive Visit West membership assets to use across your channels and have access to a professional photography library.

Members can also advertise their latest job vacancies on our website which are shared regularly through our corporate channels.

Event Suppliers

Silver membership applications can also be made by PCOs and suppliers such as catering companies, event management companies, DMCs and organisations that specialise in event décor and theming, event staffing, entertainment, auction providers, printing and distribution and speakers.

A listing on Meet Bristol and Bath promoting your services to conference, meeting and event organisers and the opportunity to submit editorial to MICE newsletters. 

Invitation to our member only events which give members the chance to showcase their product as well as network with our other members and partners. Membership also offers opportunities to participate in Business Events familiarisation visits and events along with opportunities to partner and exhibit with Meet Bristol and Bath at industry trade shows & exhibitions.

Members also receive discounted rates to advertise within our Events Planners Guide and have access to sector specific guidance and advice for your business.

Silver Membership Fees

All fees cover 12 months of membership and are excluding VAT.

Silver membership starts from £345 plus VAT however prices are based on size of organisation. View rate card here.

Payment can be made by BACS, debit/credit card, direct debit or a schedule of staged payments.All fees are valid for 12 months & exclude VAT
