Widely regarded as one of Bristol’s premier dining destinations, city favourite Pasture will once again be on site at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta in partnership with Albert Goodman serving delicious food over the weekend.
Following the roaring success of last year’s onsite restaurant, Pasture will be returning for second year serving delicious food to Fiesta goers from Friday 8 to Sunday 10 August from a specially curated menu for the event.
Alongside the indoor experience, adjacent to their on-site restaurant, Pasture will be running a BBQ service throughout the day, under their new concept, PRIME. This highly anticipated project by Pasture will be a new, casual dining affair, encapsulating the best of Pasture over the years with many new tasty additions.
The main Pasture onsite restaurant will once again be found in an enviable location on the edge of the main arena. Kicking off with Breakfast, every day, the team will be serving up a delicious, fulfilling and indulgent breakfast, created and plated only for the Fiesta. Tables can be booked at a time to suit between 7am and 11.30am, with a complimentary hot drink included with your ticket. For early risers' tea and coffee can be purchased in Pasture from 5.30am before breakfast service commences.
From 5pm, on Friday and Saturday, there will be a 2-course dinner service in a beautiful environment, elevating your weekend. You will be served a selection of Pasture favourites, exclusive dishes, complemented with service that impresses as much as the food. The perfect setting to enjoy the scheduled evening ascents.
Then for the ultimate Fiesta experience, the Night Glow service from 8.30pm, on Friday and Saturday, where diners will be greeted with a glass of bubbly and served 4 exquisite courses of Pasture favourites as well as dishes created especially for this event.
In addition to this, there will also be a new Pasture Day BBQ from midday until 4pm, where anyone can head to the restaurant for hot off the grill burgers, wings and other Pasture classics. There’s no need to book, just rock up and enjoy.
Sam Elliot, Chef & Owner at Pasture, commented: “We are delighted to be back for our second year at the Fiesta after an incredibly fun and successful weekend in 2024. We have looked back at last year and tweaked our offer slightly to offer a bit of something for everyone, from the casual walk up and order lunch service, to the full sit-down dining experience.
“The team and I can’t wait to get back up to Ashton Court and serve everyone our delicious food against the backdrop of the Fiesta and the incredible programme in the main arena.”
Ben Hardy, Balloon Fiesta Executive Director said; “We’re thrilled to have Pasture back providing food and drink for Fiesta goers. Their first year was such a success and to have them back again and cooking up a storm in Sky Lounge as well as their full restaurant across the whole weekend will be fantastic.”
Visitors can also enhance their Fiesta experience in Sky Lounge, the event’s public hospitality area, situated right next to the arena with a clear view of the balloon launch field. Under a stretch tent, visitors can enhance their visit to the event with the perfect base for exploring the event including access to complimentary wi-fi, private toilets, a dedicated cash bar and vintage games, as well as unobstructed views for the mass ascents and Night Glow.
For those wanting to experience the magic of the Night Glow up close and personal, the Fiesta is once again offering Nightglow Launch Field Access. With limited availability, visitors can purchase a ticket to access to the ballooning arena and walk amongst the illuminated balloons as this one-of-a-kind show dazzles the thousands of spectators of all ages.
The Fiesta is free to attend but visitors must purchase car parking tickets in advance if they plan to drive to the event.
