Bristol Pride has today announced that Canadian alt-pop visionary and global icon Allie X will headline the 2025 Main Stage on Saturday 12th July, marking her long-awaited debut performance in Bristol and a major highlight of this year’s festival.

Performing exclusively in the South West as part of her Girl With No Face tour, over the past decade, Allie X has cemented herself in the pop pantheon as one of music’s sharpest, most insightful, and trendsetting artists. With over half a billion streams online, she’s set to bring a bold, high-concept live show to the festival, filled with her signature synth-pop sounds and rebellious spirit to close out the Main Stage.

Known for her boundary-pushing sound and fearless aesthetic, she’s toured with and written hits with artists including Troye Sivan, Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, MARINA, BTS, Empress Of and The Vamps. Allie X’s performance will offer more than just music - it will be a full sensory experience; the show is set to immerse the audience in her world of identity, vulnerability and self-expression.

Daryn Carter MBE, Director of Bristol Pride, said: “Allie X is a phenomenal addition to this year’s line-up. Her music resonates deeply with the LGBT+ community, not just for its sound, but for its message of self-expression and defiance. Her live shows are electric and her debut in Bristol is something we’ve been waiting for. It’s going to be HUGE!”

Bristol Pride 2025 will run from Saturday 28th June to Saturday 12th July, featuring a diverse range of events across the city, from comedy and drag performances to theatre, sport, film screenings, and more. The festival’s Pride Day on 12th July will see over 200 performers take to the stage across five different stages on The Downs, following the city’s vibrant Pride Parade, which is free to individuals wishing to march.

Joining Allie X on the Main Stage is a stellar line-up of pop legends and Pride favourites, including 80s icon Kim Wilde who takes this year’s Afternoon Legends slot, dancefloor powerhouse Ultra Naté and Eurodance star Cascada, promising a high-energy soundtrack to the day. Over on the Cabaret Stage, RuPaul’s Drag Race royalty, Brooke Lynn Hytes, will headline a vibrant programme of drag and cabaret, bringing glamour, wit, and star power to one of Pride’s most beloved stages. More acts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
