Visit West, the Local Visitor Economy Partnership for the West of England, hosted its annual Regional Visitor Economy Conference at Bristol's We The Curious on 20 March 2025. 

In total, over 230 of Visit West's members and stakeholders gathered at the conference, which consisted of networking opportunities and keynote speeches from major figures in the national tourism industry, as well as exciting updates from local attractions and key upcoming events.

Keynote speakers included the CEO of VisitBritain/VisitEngland Patricia Yates, screen tourism specialist Seren Welch, Director of the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions Bernard Donoghue OBE, and Stephen Peacock, CEO of the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority.

The conference also included a panel discussion with representatives of the region's film offices, as well as updates on the national industry landscape, local attractions, and key upcoming events. A welcome address by Donna Speed from We The Curious was followed by a review of 2024 from Visit West. The afternoon session was completed by Kathryn Davis highlighting plans for Visit West activity throughout 2025.

As well as networking with each other, attendees also had the opportunity to meet eight of Visit West's supplier members who exhibited on the day, including: 

Delegates were able to enjoy a sandwich lunch in the sunshine on the roof terrace, provided by the team at local Bristol caterers Double Puc
