Virgin Experience Days to hold second annual charity Golf Day

Virgin Experience Days is planning to hold its second Annual Golf Day alongside its charity partner Thames Hospice at Caversham Golf Club in Reading (one of the best facilities of its type in Southern England) on Friday 13 June 2025.

There are four ways that companies can get involved and support this fantastic charity event, including: 

• Play Golf – Get a team of 4 colleagues/friends together or put yourself forward to play alongside other people on the day. Yes, it’s a competition but Virgin Experience Days welcomes players of all standards to come along and enjoy a round of golf at one of the best golf courses in Berkshire. The golf day will be followed by a two-course meal and evening of entertainment.
• Evening Meal – The golf itself will be followed by an evening two-course meal, drinks and a raffle/auction. Not everyone plays golf so this will be a good way to get as many people involved as possible!
• Sponsor a Hole – £100 gets you on-course signage (company logo, etc.) to showcase your brand on one of the 18 holes. This is limited to 18 spaces, but is a great passive way to support the cause with all funds go to charity and a bit of brand awareness!
• Prize Donation – This can be anything from a Gift Card to branded merchandise from your business. The idea is to provide an amazing list of prizes to raffle/auction off at the event. Branded merchandise is also welcome, as each player will be given a ‘goody bag’ upon arrival.

At the last Golf Day in 2023, Virgin Experience Days raised over £10,000 for the Thames Hospice and have every intention of smashing that number this year! So far this year, companies supporting the event include Merlin, Thames Rockets, The Crazy Bear, Bounce, Art4Space, Alcotraz, Hoo Zoo, Dale Hill, Fox Hills, Valor Hotels, Junk Yard Golf, plus many more!
