After months of anticipation, The Beefy Boys have officially opened the doors to their brand-new Bath restaurant, following a busy soft launch period and an exciting VIP launch party on Thursday 6 March.

The exclusive event saw some of Bath and Bristol’s finest turn out to celebrate the arrival of the World Food Championship award-winning burger brand in Bath, including Great British Bake Off finalist Briony May Williams, Gogglebox star Tremaine Plummer, and members of the Bath Rugby team. The evening was also attended by key local businesses, press, and influencers, all eager to get a first taste of The Beefy Boys’ signature American-style dirty burgers, loaded fries, cocktails, hard shakes, and more.

Located at 24 Milsom Street in the beautifully restored Grade II listed former bank, the new restaurant blends historic grandeur with The Beefy Boys’ signature playful style. With soaring five-metre-high ceilings, striking marble columns, bold illustrations telling the story of the brand’s journey, and cheeky neon-lit phrases such as ‘Licence to Grill’ and ‘Smash Ya Patty,' the space is full of character and charm.

Guests to the event enjoyed an exclusive Smashed Patty Masterclass with The Beefy Boys’ co-founder Anthony ‘Murf’ Murphy, learning firsthand the secrets behind the restaurants’ world-renowned burgers. Delicious food and cocktails were served throughout the evening, with DJ Cheeba providing plenty of atmosphere, and the restaurant’s open-fronted kitchen provided a front-row seat to attendees to see the burger magic in action. Somer Valley Brewery were also on hand to provide samples of their draught lagers and IPAs, which are also served within the restaurant.

Since their humble beginnings as childhood friends who formed a backyard BBQ team, The Beefy Boys have taken the burger world by storm, securing some of the top spots at the World Food Championships, most recently in November 2024, and building devoted followings at their restaurants in Hereford, Shrewsbury, and Cheltenham. Now, Bath locals and visitors can experience their legendary burger creations right in the heart of the city.

Speaking about the official opening, Co-Founder Murf said, “The response from our visitors in Bath has been incredible! From the first day of our soft launch to the launch party itself, we’ve felt so welcomed by the local community. We’re beyond excited to finally open our doors and serve up our burgers to this amazing city and experience all of its fantastic culture along the way.”
