What’s on this Half-Term Wookey Hole

For unforgettable adventures this February, and beyond, Wookey Hole is the place to be!

Get ready to step into a world of wonder, witchcraft and spellbinding family fun, as Wookey Hole reopens daily for 2025, from Saturday 15 February.

2025 is a year of momentous milestones at Wookey Hole, this summer sees the 90^th anniversary of the first-ever British Cave Dive – undertaken by Graham Balcombe and Penelope Powell – as well as the 20th anniversary one of the world’s deepest Cave Dives – by caving legends Rick Stanton and John Volanthen.

Above ground, The Pier at Wookey Hole Caves, created in homage to the great British seaside pier, celebrates its 50th anniversary. Originally installed in 1975, by Madame Tussauds the Pier is home to Wookey Hole’s iconic mirror maze, a working penny arcade and a whole host of vintage games and fairground features.

With the attraction also planning to introduce new features later in the year, there’s no doubt this is the year to book in a visit to this iconic attraction, steeped in natural history, myth and legend.

The Comedy Cavern is back at Wookey Hole, returning for its date of 2025 on Friday 18th April. Hosted by the West Country’s Own Cerys Nelmes and headlined by Darren Harriot, best known as Dave in the hit BBC show Outsiders, as well as appearances on 8 out of 10 Cats, Richard Osman’s House of Games and Backstage with Katherine Ryan. Joining Harriot on the bill is the award-winning up-and-coming comic Patrick Smith and with more still to come, this will be night not to miss.
