Love is in the air this Valentine’s Day as The Grand Pier proudly introduces the Heart of Weston, a stunning new permanent sculpture that encourages couples and families to spread the love.

Heart of Weston at night

Located on the iconic Grand Pier in Weston super Mare, this magnificent heart-shaped structure invites visitors of all ages to share a special, memorable moment while capturing ‘lovely’ memories with their nearest and dearest.

With February Half Term kicking off this Saturday 15th February, the Heart of Weston is a great opportunity for families, couples, and friends to come together and capture the perfect photo in front of this beautiful installation.

Whether you're celebrating romance, friendship, or family, the Heart of Weston is sure to make your visit to The Grand Pier even more special.

In addition to the visual beauty of The Heart of Weston, visitors can take part in the exciting Love Lock experience. Using a dedicated crane machine located on the Pier’s pavilion, visitors can win a Love Lock padlock, which can then be personalised with initials and locked onto the heart as a symbol of lasting love.

“The Heart of Weston is not just about symbolising your love; it’s about making memories here in Weston-super-Mare which is what we are all about. We can’t wait to see the heart fill up with padlocks!” said Tim Moyle, Director at The Grand Pier

Be sure to visit The Grand Pier this Valentine’s Day and throughout the February Half Term to see the Heart of Weston in all its glory. Don’t forget to snap that perfect photo and share it with The Grand Pier on social media (Instagram: @thegrandpier).
