At the 2025 National Burger Awards, Mollie’s Motel and Diner came away with a win after being crowned ‘Blogger’s Choice’ for its burger, The New Yorker.
Despite fierce national competition, with renowned brands such as Patty & Bun & Lagom taking part, Mollie’s came out on top in the bloggers opinion, being crowned their favourite by renowned foodie influencers, @kate.ovens, @BigEatsGlobal and @thefatfoodie.
Priced at £14, the award-winning The New Yorker takes inspiration from a classic steak house in the big apple, combining the flavours of charred, aged beef, chimichurri, tangy mustard house relish, American cheese and a rich, sumptuous steak sauce into a burger.
With two sites, at Buckland in Oxfordshire and Cribbs Causeway in Bristol, Mollie’s has quickly established a reputation for its inventive American-style diner menu, with the delicious burgers stealing the show. When it comes to sourcing the meat, Mollie’s focuses on high-quality, using premium butchers Select Meats and Turner & George. To lock in the famous flavour, each burger patty is dry-aged for 28 days before brushing the burger with aged beef fat that has been simmered with rosemary, thyme and garlic – a ‘secret’ Mollie’s trick to perfect the patty. Burger buns are sourced from artisan bakery, Bread Factory, who share in Mollie’s sustainable approach to sourcing, using a range of grains from regenerative farms.
Kate Brooke-Green, Head of Food at Mollie’s says: “We are absolutely delighted to have been crowned winner of the Blogger’s Choice award at this year’s National Burger Awards. The New Yorker is one of the most popular items on our menu and the team has worked extremely hard to perfect it, from sourcing the right ingredients to ensuring each one blends together harmoniously to create the perfect tasting burger!”
Inspired by the vintage American roadside pitstop, Mollie’s Diner is an inseparable part of the motel concept. The contemporary Soho House design features chrome, neon, a buzzy open kitchen, retro leather booths (inspired by the front seat of a vintage Cadillac), and a crowd-pleasing menu of diner classics. Burgers, dogs, hot wings, waffles and all-day eggs, creamy soft serves and indulgent desserts are joined by healthy salads, plant-based dishes and Mini Mollie’s meals for kids.
Mollie’s is an affordable hotel and diner concept, with rapid expansion plans to roll-out a number of sought-after, design and tech-led venues across the UK. Mollie’s Manchester, the brand’s first city motel, is set to open later in 2025.
