Post: HR Coordinator
Salary: Circa £30,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:


•    HR Administration & Recruitment - Assist with end-to-end recruitment processes including advertising roles, arranging interviews and reference checking. Accurately lead and manage all administration for starters, leavers and changes, including preparing contracts of employment and all employee change letters. Maintain up-to-date employee records and support performance management procedures. Responsible for in person Right to Work checks.
•    HR Systems - Accurately update the HR system with new starters/leavers and changes. Train new staff on the system. First point of contact for all system queries/issues, raise cases with the helpdesk as needed. Run regular system reports on absence, volunteering and outstanding holidays etc as required by the Director of People.
•    Payroll Support - Provide the Finance team with monthly starters/leavers and changes for payroll. Update pensions and employee benefits with changes on a monthly basis.
•    Employee Support & Guidance - Manage the HR team inbox, first point of contact to answer employee and manager queries on policies, procedures, and HR best practices. Conduct maternity/paternity meetings.
•    Learning & Development – Responsible for running HR inductions for new starters and planning quarterly Company inductions. Coordinate training sessions, track completed learning, maintain training records, and ensure compliance with statutory training requirements.  
•    Office Support - Assist with HR-related onboarding/offboarding, equipment orders, and audits. Help maintain the HR internal intranet, posting regularly to remind staff of HR updates and our wellbeing offering available.  Book external pension appointments.
•    Company Benefits – Advise staff on our range of benefits. Produce monthly employee benefits statistics, update external providers with starters/leavers and changes each month. 


ABOUT YOU

Essential:
•    Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources administrative position.
•    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
•    Ability to produce documents to a high standard.
•    Experience using a HR Information system (HRIS).
•    Ability to improve systems and processes to improve efficiency.
•    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
•    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
•    Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR systems.
•    A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
•    Level 3 CIPD qualification.



Desirable:
•    Experience with payroll administration.
•    Experience of conducting Right to Work checks.
•    Familiarity with HR policies and employment law basics.
•    Experience providing HR system support or liaising with external providers.
•    Knowledge of learning and development processes, including training coordination.
