Legendary Scottish band, Texas, are set to headline Bristol Sounds 2025 on Friday 27 June, bringing their five-decade-spanning hits to Bristol Harbourside.

Celebrated around the world for anthems like ‘I Don’t Want A Lover,' ‘Say What You Want’ and ‘Inner Smile,' Texas’ performance promises to be an unforgettable evening of world-class live music. 

Bristol Sounds, the city’s signature summer series of open air gigs, will return to the Bristol Amphitheatre from Wednesday 25 - Sunday 29 June. Texas will join the previously announced headliners, Olly Murs, Supergrass and Kaiser Chiefs, adding to a stellar line-up that celebrates a diverse range of music and energy.

Fronted by the one-and-only Sharleen Spiteri, Texas has sold over 40 million records worldwide, attracting fans across generations with their timeless melodies and electrifying performances. On [date], audiences can expect hits from across their career, as well as recent favourites like ‘Mr. Haze’ and ‘Keep on Talking’, featured in their acclaimed ‘The Very Best Of 1989-2023.' 

Conal Dodds, Promoter at Crosstown Concerts, said: “The very first CD I was ever sent by someone in the music industry was by Texas, in 1989. I have loved the band ever since and I’m thrilled that we have them headlining our Friday night of Bristol Sounds. I can't wait to hear Sharleen’s incredible voice across the harbour side next year, this is going to be a very special show!”
