Now in its 18th year, The Festival Awards are the UK’s only fully festival focused awards. Nominated by members of the public, the awards feature the biggest and best events from all over the UK.

Andy Lenthall CEO, UK Festival Awards said:

It’s great to see Bristol Pride’s passion-driven achievements recognised; extending beyond music into a day of activities and an iconic parade justifies their win in the Best Non-Music Festival category. Pride is a movement driven by a community, and this 100% fan-voted award shows that Bristol Pride has created something extra special.

The award highlighted the fortnight of multiple events that happen during Bristol Pride; Comedy, theatre, sport, circus, cinema, and more are all part of the 40+ events that take place over 26 Bristol Venues.

Pride Director, Daryn Carter explained:

It's incredible to win in the Festival Awards, such national recognition for Bristol Pride is so great to receive. We are so proud of the event that we have created here, but it's the performers, public and incredible volunteers that make Pride such a special event.

This summer's festival saw record numbers attending the Parade March and Festival which was headlined by electronic pop icons, The Human League, alongside Ladytron, Steps’ Claire Richards, and Georgia. Previous headliners have included international acts such as Jake Shears, Carly Rae Jepsen, Natalie Imbruglia, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Spice Girl Mel C, and Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle. Bristol Pride will be revealing their 2025 lineup for the stages over the coming months.

Bristol Pride have confirmed that the main event will continue to take place on The Downs next year, with over 200 artists are expected to perform across 5 stages at the annual event. 2025 Wristbands are already available to the public as organisers announce the dates for their fortnight of events which will run from 28th June, culminating with the main Pride Day on Saturday 12th July.
