Wookey Hole to transform into Winter Wonderland this Christmas

Wookey Hole is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated Winter Wonderland, running from 23 November 2024 to 5 January 2025. This year’s event promises an unforgettable blend of enchantment, festive joy, and heartwarming experiences, but with an extra special addition for the post-Christmas period after Santa goes back to the North Pole – the beloved Paddington Bear will be visiting Wookey Hole for Twixmas!

Step into the Magic of Christmas

Wookey Hole's iconic caves are set to be transformed into a dazzling Winter Wonderland, with over 100,000 fairy lights illuminating the stunning underground landscape. Visitors of all ages will be guided through these enchanting caves, experiencing their magic as they’ve never seen them before.

No Pre-Christmas visit is complete without a stop at Santa’s Grotto. Children will have the chance to meet Father Christmas himself and receive a special gift from Santa’s Elves the Toy Factory, courtesy of TY Toys, all included in the ticket price.

And the festive fun doesn't stop there! Guests can enjoy a thrilling, Christmas-themed circus show, where a magical toy shop springs to life after dark! As the lights dim, the shelves begin to shake, and suddenly the toys leap into action, coming alive in a whirlwind of excitement and adventure. Plus, there’s a 4D cinema experience featuring a festive film, adding to the excitement of this magical day out.

Paddington™ Comes to Wookey Hole for Twixmas!

But the real highlight of the season is reserved for Twixmas – the magical days between Christmas and New Year, from 27 December to 5 January. During this special period, visitors will have the chance to meet Paddington, the world’s most charming and curious bear from Peru!

Families can enjoy a meet-and-greet with Paddington, offering a perfect post-Christmas treat. Everyone will be able to see Paddington after the daily Circus shows and enjoy other festive activities across the park.

All of Wookey Hole’s Winter Wonderland magic is included in the standard ticket price.
