As the nights draw in and it gets a little chillier, it’s the perfect time for us to bring out our saunas. Dive into the thrill of winter surfing and melt away the chill in our cozy saunas. It's not just about the waves, it's about the warmth that follows.
Cost: Saunas are free to use if you have purchased a lesson / session in the lake. It is not possible to pre-book a session and they are available on a first come, first served basis.

The Wave - General Information
The Wave uses amazing technology to create surfing waves for all ages and abilities, from a beginner stepping on a board for the first time, to a professional training for the Olympics. A 180m long lake is at its heart, but The Wave is not just about surfing. It's about sharing incredible experiences with anyone who wants to enjoy them, in a naturally healthy space. It is about the positive health and wellbeing benefits of being in or near water. And it's about helping people have a shedload of fun in the process!
The Camp at The Wave opened in 2021 and offers family-friendly accommodation, as well as tents for couples and also shared dorms, just a short walk from the shore of the surfing lake. It celebrates the simple things in life and is a space where you can relax, reset and reconnect. Built to withstand the elements, the tents sleep up to 8 and play homage to the surfing spirit of adventure and are kitted out with comfortable beds, a kitchenette with hot water, private toilet, fridge, large balcony area at the front, and wood burner for chillier evenings.
The Wave is located in a beautiful rural site on the edge of Bristol, close to the M5. A one-hour surf costs from £45 for an adult and £35 for a child, depending on the time of year and day of the week. A 1.5-hour surf session with coaching costs from £55 for an adult and £45 for a child. All prices include everything you need including wetsuit, wetsuit boots and surfboards.
