Bursting with unmissable music, Bristol’s best bands, DJ’s, musicians, and grassroots artists will be taking over three of  Bristol Beacon’s stages for a day-to-night festival spanning multiple genres for the city’s biggest Bristol Takeover on Saturday 2 November.

Returning for the first time since 2022, the free one-day music event will see the venue come alive with a celebration of the city’s incredible emerging talent. Artists, musicians and performers will showcase their music throughout Bristol Beacon’s performance spaces including Bridgehouse, Lantern Hall and its newest performing space, The Weston Stage in the Cellars, providing a diverse and atmospheric experience. A unique opportunity to discover new and rising artists, Bristol Takeover is the place to be for any music lover in the city. 

Bristol Beacon Takeover

The Bristol-centric showcase will feature performances from Alamay and their soulful voice and Bethany Ley, known for her enchanting acoustic melodies. Birdman Cult will bring their high-energy alt-rock, alongside the experimental compositions of Daniel InzaniDr Chonk & The Nature Injection will deliver their unique blend of funk and psychedelic rhythms, while Eva May brings her introspective songwriting to the stage. Expect eclectic beats from Hector Who Lived and boundary-pushing sounds from electronic visionary Kai WhistonMake Friends will add their signature indie-pop, followed by the ethereal tones of My Midnight Heart. Rounding out the showcase are SAMBEE’s vibrant R&B, the powerhouse vocals of Sisanda Myataza, Afro-Brazilian beats from Soma Soma, and the emotionally rich performances of Thomas Ridley. Further acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

Providing a performance platform for Bristol’s best emerging acts, Bristol Takeover is made possible by the support of the PRS Foundation Talent Development Network, and is core to BristolBristol Beacon’s commitment to nurturing talent. 

This one-day mini-festival is free to attend, attendees can register their interest in the event to receive the latest updates and event information on the website now.
