This All Hallows’ Eve, Bristol's grown ups are invited to a Halloween party that the kids aren’t. On Thursday 31st October, The PIT in Totterdown is hosting Tarot & Tastings: an evening of eerie wines, tarot readings, captivating street art and circus.
In partnership with award-winning wine bar KASK and renowned Bristol street artist Sickboy, this event promises a creatively charged celebration for those looking for a more sophisticated way to embrace the spookiest night of the year. Taking place between 7.30 – 9.30pm, after parents have finished up trick or treating, tickets for the event are on sale now at https://www.kaskwine.co.uk/shop/tarot-and-tastings/.
Designed with adults in mind, the event will feature four Halloween-themed wines, carefully curated by KASK. Known for its focus on small-batch, handpicked selections, KASK will introduce guests to mysterious varieties including a selection from Transylvania - ideal for those ready to try something new, direct from Dracula’s homeland.
The gallery features site specific artworks from Sickboy as the backdrop for local tarot reader, Beyond Imagining Tarot, who will be on hand throughout the night, revealing guests’ fates with the guidance of the vines. For those brave enough to dive into the deck, the cards are sure to pair perfectly with the wine…
Curated by The Invisible Circus, roving performers will also be loose in The PIT, weaving bursts of the unexpected into the evening. Performances from an internationally-renowned contortionist and a spellbinding magician will heighten the sense of wonder and provide some spine-tingling magical moments.
Jemma Slattery, Venue Manager at The PIT, said: “This is not your typical Halloween. Costumes are encouraged (but by no means essential) and we invite Bristol to come along and embrace a night of creativity, intrigue and mystery.
