The Art Circle in Bath, an inclusive group of artists, are putting on their first exhibition this October. Located upstairs in the Raven of Bath, a historic pub on Queen Street, the playful theme of the exhibition is ‘Pint Sized’ – small, but perfectly formed, all the original art for sale is no bigger than A4, offered at £150 each.
The group was established by local artist Iasonas Bakas alongside creative friends in the city to create a free, inclusive art community and reduce feelings of isolation. The popular art group, who meet every few months in the Raven already count 100 members. They decided to put the playful exhibition on together in a pub, with the aim of displaying their work in an accessible environment and connect with locals, who might not otherwise have access to original art.
The ongoing exhibition is located upstairs in the Raven of Bath pub, with an opening night on 23rd October 2024 from 6.30pm, all welcome and free to attend.

“I found myself painting alone in my house, and knew many others who felt isolated in their creativity. In creating the Art Circle community, we have forged artistic connections across the city, shared knowledge and seen friendships grow.
The Pint Sized exhibition idea was born in one of our Art Circle meet-ups in the pub – why not show our work here, where the people of Bath can enjoy it over a pint? Organising our own show has brought many of us out of working in isolation in our homes or studios and bonded us as a community”
