Award-winning theatre company Dyad Productions (A Room of One’s Own) return to the Ustinov Studio this September with a brand-new solo comedy show based on Jane Austen’s first full-length work from 1794, Lady Susan. Performed by Rebecca Vaughan and directed by Andrew Margerison, this wickedly funny tale is the first show in the 2024 Visiting Company Season at the Ustinov Studio, that sees a vast array of performances take to the stage including plays, comedy, music and more.

Appearing at the Ustinov Studio from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 September, Austen’s Women: Lady Susan, is a study of society and the women trapped within it. Exploring desires, temptations and manipulations as audiences follow the coquettish black widow Lady Susan, taking on society and making it her own. This is Austen as never seen before.

Austen’s Women: Lady Susan is created in collaboration with The Old Town Hall, Hemel Hempstead.
