Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm is excited to announce the arrival of two baby chocolate skunk brothers! These adorable newcomers are already charming staff and visitors alike with their playful antics and unique names. Drax and Quill have joined their cousins Rocket and Groot and the keepers at the zoo best keep a close eye on them to be sure they don’t escape to space!

Hannah, a Primate and Small Mammal Keeper at the zoo commented, "The newest members of our skunk group are brothers, Drax and Quill. They are the cousins of Rocket and Groot (our existing skunks). Drax and Quill are 10 weeks old and weigh just under a kilo. Quill is a bit bigger and lighter in colour than Drax but they have very similar markings. Drax and Quill are chocolate skunks, this means they are more brown in colour comparatively to Rocket and Groot who are your typical black and white striped skunks.”

Hannah continued, “They are both very inquisitive so we’re excited to move them into their new home. We will introduce the 4 of them gradually and have every hope they will get on well.”

If anyone has a skunk called Gamora, the team at Noah’s Ark would love to hear from you!
