This summer, Gloucestershire’s WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre transformed their wetlands into a new and exciting Code Breakers trail. It is visitors’ last opportunity to crack the code, as the trail ends on Sunday 1 September.

Gold winners of ‘Large Visitor Attraction of the Year’ in the 2024 VisitEngland Awards for Excellence, WWT Slimbridge, have been hosting a huge interactive puzzle adventure for all the family – with their beautiful wetlands as the backdrop. Plus, clever customers who have deciphered the code have been entered into a prize draw, for a chance to win a year’s family membership to WWT – so that they can return to the award-winning attraction as many times as they like.

Two thrilling challenges are on offer, so little ones and grown-up explorers alike can get involved. Younger children can enjoy unscrambling letters to reveal secrets phrases and a special sticker awaits at the Gift Shop. Alternatively, families can work together to test their teamwork by finding giant letters, solving puzzles, and decoding phrases to crack the code for a chance to win a year’s family membership to WWT.

Summer Code Breakers is the perfect day out for nature lovers, puzzle enthusiasts and families looking for something new to try during the school summer holidays. All activities in the trail are included within admission ticket to the site and are free to WWT members.
