Award-winning family attraction, The Grand Pier, is excited to announce its nomination for yet another award. This time, the business needs your help to secure a win!

The Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare has been shortlisted for the "Favourite Seaside Places and Experience in the UK" award by the Seaside Heritage Network's Bucket and Spade list. The Seaside Heritage Network exists to champion Britain’s historic resorts and has again asked members of the public to nominate their favourite places, experiences and flavours for inclusion in the 2024 Bucket and Spade List.

Over the summer a shortlist of 20 contenders will be whittled down to a Top Ten via an online vote which can be accessed at https://seasideheritage.org.uk/bucket-spade-list/vote-for-2024-winners/

The vote opens on Monday 1st July and the public are urged to join in on celebrating #NationalSeasideDay across social media channels.

“We are incredibly pleased to be nominated for this award, which aligns so well with our seaside heritage. Winning would be a fantastic achievement and shows our commitment to providing a mix of nostalgic and modern attractions for all ages” said Katie Robertson, PR & Marketing Manager at The Grand Pier. “We hope our loyal visitors will support us by voting for us as their favourite seaside destination!”
