For the first time ever, the former Guinness World Record holding inflatable obstacle course, The Tartan Titan, will leave its Scottish hometown and set up camp at Avon Valley as part of the Adventure & Wildlife Park’s jam-packed summer of fun. Spanning over 600 metres and 50 sections of obstacles to tackle, The Tartan Titan is set to be the team-building activity of the summer.
The course will be inflated at Avon Valley from Saturday 27th July - Saturday 31st August, and ticket holders will enjoy a 60 minute slot on The Tartan Titan, challenging team mates and beating personal goals to make it through all 50 sections.
In preparation for the course’s arrival, Avon Valley is hosting a competition for local school children to design their own version of the course. The winning design will win 30 tickets for their school class to test out the real Tartan Titan, with an additional eight adult tickets included in the prize.*
Inspired by courses like Total Wipeout, Gladiators and Ninja Warrior, The Tartan Titan will test visitors’ stamina and ability to fight inflatable obstacles on their way to the finish line.
Private hire of the Titan is available for school events, as well as adults-only parties, corporate and team building events, gym challenges and summer school days out. Built for all fitness levels and abilities, the challenge requires stamina, agility and cardio.
Doug Douglas, owner of Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park, said: “Summer 2024 is set to be our most exhilarating ever at the park! We love being able to host such fun events and are excited to welcome The Tartan Titan, while still being able to offer our established and well-loved daily summer activities as part of Summertopia. This year, guests will be able to stay at the park until 8pm on Fridays, to really make the most of the summer evening sunshine and those later holiday bedtimes.”
Limited tickets are available now for The Tartan Titan at bookings.avonvalley.co.uk/book/tartan-titan/. Tickets do not include entry to the main park and must be bought separately.
