The RWA Art Gallery in Bristol UK, in partnership with Bonhams, is hosting a unique auction event showcasing exclusive artworks by prominent international artists and work from the estates of renowned artists. The auction will be held online from 9 August and culminate on 22 August 2024. Many of the artworks will also be on display in the RWA galleries from 15 – 22 August.

Bonhams are waiving all fees for this sale, including buyers’ commission, making this an attractive proposition for collectors. Proceeds from this fundraiser will raise crucial funds to support the RWA’s mission of delivering life-enhancing creative inspiration and engagement to underserved communities in Bristol, bringing world-class art to the South West of England, and preserving the RWA building for future generations.

The RWA Art Gallery, known for its commitment to excellence in the arts, faces the challenge of operating without public subsidy, relying solely on earned income and fundraising efforts to sustain its acclaimed exhibitions and educational initiatives. The auction presents a rare opportunity for art collectors and philanthropists to acquire pieces directly from leading international artists and their estates. Featured artists include:
