Comedian Harry Hill will visit the Theatre Royal Bath next year with his brand-new show New Bits & Greatest Hits appearing on Sunday 9 March 2025.

Audiences are invited to get on board the laughter train and join Harry for his Diamond Jubilee lap of honour as he celebrates 60 glorious years of fun, laughter and low-level disruption.

With new insights into the hot topics of the day, including the demise of the SCART lead, The Culture Wars, the differences between crab sticks and rhubarb, and the origins of Tirimisu, Harry Hill will delve into his back catalogue using his patented ‘Old Bit Randomiser’ for favourites like ‘Interspecies Tennis’, ‘The time I went up in the Space Shuttle' and ‘When Nan got her hair caught in the knitting’! Fans can look forward to the return of The Badger Parade with guest appearances from The Knitted Character and Abu Hamster, plus one lucky audience member will get to join him in a double act! Casting updates for shows appearing in 2024, include confirmation that Jane Horrocks (Little Voice, Absolutely Fabulous, Trollied, Life Is Sweet) will star in a new production of The Birthday Party as part of Deborah Warner's third season at Bath’s Ustinov Studio. Appearing from 2nd to 31st August, Harold Pinter's comedy of menace will be directed by Richard Jones, whose recent production of Machinal thrilled audiences at the Ustinov Studio before transferring to London’s Old Vic this spring.

Award-winning comedian Seann Walsh, Chris Harper (Call the Midwife, Coronation Street) and Aden Gillett (The Crown, The House of Eliott) will star in the multi-award-winning smash hit comedy, ART, when it tours to the Theatre Royal Bath from Tuesday 3 to Saturday 7 September. Named Best Comedy at the Olivier, Tony and Molière Awards, ART played in London's West End for an historic nine years, as well as touring internationally and entertaining audiences worldwide. Iqbal Khan (East is East, National Theatre and Othello, RSC) will direct this brand-new production of Yasmina Reza's fiendishly clever and hilariously funny play about friendship, love and, of course, art.

Also, newly announced, Australian superstar Jason Donovan will star in Richard O’Brien’s rock ‘n’ roll musical The Rocky Horror Show, when the legendary stage production appears at the Theatre Royal Bath from Monday 14 to Saturday 19 October. Jason reprises his iconic role as the captivating Frank-n-Furter on tour across the UK following a sold-out Australian tour.

A guaranteed party, seen by over 35 million theatregoers, The Rocky Horror Show famously combines science-fiction, horror, comedy and music. When two squeaky clean college kids, Brad and his fiancée Janet, meet Dr Frank-n-Furter on a stormy New Jersey night after their car breaks down outside his house, they find themselves caught up in an adventure they’ll never forget.

With fun, frolics, frocks, frivolity, extraordinary characters and outrageous outfits, The Rocky Horror Show, directed by Christopher Luscombe, features timeless classics, including Sweet Transvestite, Damn It Janet, and of course, the pelvic thrusting show-stopping Time Warp.
