Headlined by UK ragga-metal heavyweights Skindred, the full line-up for Bristol Sounds’ launch night has today been announced - with both emerging and established alt. rock, punk and metal sensations set to take over the Amphitheatre.
Hailing from just across the water in South Wales, Sounds-goers can expect Skindred’s unique brand of reggae, rock and metal on Saturday 22 June. Their latest album release ‘Smile’ reached number two in the album charts and has unleashed further anticipation around the Welsh band, following their meteoric rise from Newport to the world stage.
Adding to the rocking line-up and accompanying the electrifying Skindred will be a stellar-assembly of talent that promises an unforgettable day and night of music, vibes and pure energy. Renowned for their anthem rock hits and infectious sets, Glastonbury-based Reef will bring nothing but total rock anthems to the Amphitheatre.
With their distinctive blend of alternative rock and punk sensibilities, A will bring a high-octane performance that will have crowds jumping and craving more, while Kris Barras Band prepares audiences for a raw, powerful and unparalleled set with their new, heavier and darker sound.Definitely not stopping the party, alt-metallers Lake Malice are storming the UK with their gushing waves of dark electronic influence with a Japanese-Anime style as Bristol Sounds-goers will witness to one of the most exciting new bands on the scene. A perfect-performance for the angry and confused, Cody Frost will continue their angsty dark pop vibes and tracks such as Wot?, Redundant and DWYSSWM.

Amplifying the Amphitheatre with a ferocious blend of rock, metal, punk and hardcore with a seamlessness that is enviable, RXPTRS will create something that is unique and seethes with boundless energy on the Bristol stage.
Also joining the line-up for the rock-all-dayer, rock musician, singer and rapper Kid Bookie from South East London will bring a fresh and dynamic take on hip-hop, grime and rock - and is guaranteed to deliver a genre-defying performance. With their latest track, Hatemail, Petch’s infectious blend of punk rock and pop will bring high-energy to Bristol that will have audiences moving from start to finish. Tychoons in turbo-rock, Mother Vulture, will be taking the city on a wild ride with a performance known to be loud as hell, with roaring vocals and riffs for days.

Tickets for Skindred’s headline gig at Bristol Amphitheatre can be purchased on the Bristol Sounds website, starting from £40 + booking fee. For bookings of 8+, there will be no booking fee added to the cost of the ticket.
