About the role:
The Grand Pier are looking for a self-motivated individual who can create fun & quality content across all their social platforms, as well as support the PR & Marketing Manager with various marketing tasks to achieve campaign goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Taking quality content relating to a variety of content pillars for the business (Food & Beverage, Rides & Attractions, Events, Retail, Visitor experience)
- Manage and respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Create a monthly content plan for all social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X)
- Work closely with the PR & Marketing Manager to create a social media strategy for each channel with the goal to generate growth
- Spot social media trends and work quickly to jump on them!
- Create marketing email campaigns (Mailchimp experience is desirable)
- Request customer feedback regularly onsite
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a minimum of 1 year Marketing or Social Media experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or Marketing is desirable
(Note: You will be required to work five days per week over seven days, typically from 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday. Occasionally you will be required to capture content on weekends.)
