Eggstremely good fun: Avon Valley opens its doors for its Easter EGGStravaganza

Avon Valley is inviting Easter lovers to head to the Keynsham-based adventure park to enjoy their uniquely bonkers celebration of the chocolate-filled holiday. The two-week-long festivities will kick off Springtime with a bang as the park will introduce the UK’s first ever Candy Cannon. 

Sweets are synonymous with Easter, and Avon Valley’s EGGStravangza is offering treats aplenty. As part of a daily spectacle, the cannon - which has a 1.2m barrel! - will be shooting hundreds of sweets metres into the air, giving visitors the chance to sugar-rush to catch them. 

The Maternity Ewe-nit will also return for 2024, with a daily live lambing event, where lambs are born every day throughout the Easter Eggstravaganza. Also on hand will be Avon Valley’s very own shepherds, who will be giving educational talks as well as lamb bottle feeding demonstrations, with visitors invited to meet the expectant mums and hopefully witnessing a live birth. 

It wouldn’t be Easter without an egg hunt, and Avon Valley is doubling the fun with two - a daily one across Easter Weekend for people of all ages to seek the much sought after Golden Egg, and an adults-only hunt on March 30th, where the young at heart can get together to search for 2,500 eggs after dark, with a huge array of prizes up for grabs. 

Also making an appearance alongside the Easter Bunny will be The Grinch, who has conquered Christmas and will now be trying his hand at stealing Easter in the park’s first ever Easter Show.

Our Easter EGGStravaganza is the perfect place for families to come and get to know our ewes better, meet real-life newborn lambs, and celebrate the holiday in a really unique way…complete with a ton of sweets!”
