A packed house enjoys a film at Bristol Aquarium Big Screen
This Easter holidays the aquarium is focusing on the educational subject of prehistoric sealife. The warm-hearted dinosaur adventure The Land Before Time will be showing for a one off screening as part of the season on the 13th April.

In this beloved family classic from 1988, Littlefoot, a young herbivorous dinosaur, heads towards the legendary Great Valley. While on his way, he meets four other orphan dinosaurs and together they learn to face the odds of survival.
Directed by Don Bluth (An American Tail, The Secret of Nimh) and executive produced by Stephen Spielberg (E.T, Jurassic Park) and George Lucas (Star Wars, Indiana Jones), this 80s animation from Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment is fondly remembered by audiences of all ages and often considered amongst the best family films of all time.

Along with their ticket to the film, visitors will be able to get 10% off entry to the aquarium on the 13th April 2024, giving families the chance to visit the educational talks and activities taking place in the aquarium, and learn all about the creatures that lived in our seas over 200 million years ago.

Sunny Hubbard, General Manager of the Aquarium said “Film fans will have noticed, and hopefully enjoyed, the screenings that have been returning to Bristol Aquarium’s very, very big screen, over the past few years. We hope to continue to add more film screenings that complement our seasons in the Aquarium throughout the holidays this year.”

Bristol Aquarium is situated on the historic harbourside and takes visitors on an underwater adventure through the world’s oceans. For more information and to purchase tickets visit www.bristolaquarium.co.uk or call 0117 929 8929.
