To celebrate International Women’s Day 2024, The Doyle Collection hotels in Ireland, the UK and stateside in Washington D.C. will host its annual event to support women in business, offering professional headshots in each city location. The day-long event will run at The Bristol on Tuesday 5th March ahead of International Women’s Day on Friday 8 March.
Whether working within an international firm or as an entrepreneur building a business, securing a professional profile shot often falls by the wayside. The Doyle Collection will invite women to book a slot with a professional female photographer for a portrait session, within the stylish surroundings of the hotels. Each guest will be provided with a digital headshot that can be used as a valuable marketing tool – whether it be for a website, social media, a LinkedIn update, or a media profile.
The initiative has an additional philanthropic aspect with donations collected on the day at each hotel contributing to a range of women’s charities. Headshots can be reserved in exchange for a donation of £15. In Bristol, the hotel will support Women’s Work Lab, an NGO that supports women in the Southwest of the UK to support women into meaningful employment.
Local Bristol photographer Ciara Hillyer will shoot each portrait in Rick’s, the hotel’s glamorous cocktail bar inspired by the Golden Age of Hollywood. The sessions at The Bristol will take place on Tuesday, 5 March from 9:30am – 4pm.
Bookings are available via Eventbrite
