For an escape from the chilly weather, Bristol Aquarium heads to warmer seas this February half term with a new theme for families – Shipwrecked!
Putting customers in the shoes of a shipwrecked explorer, visitors will have the opportunity to follow a trail of lost captain’s notes around the Aquarium.
Guests of all ages will be able to learn about the varied animals that can be found on islands all around the world, all included in the cost of admission.
Running from 10 – 18 February Bristol Aquarium will be open from 10am – 5pm, with last entry at 4pm.
February half term also features the ever-popular Adult’s Only Valentine’s Evening, Love at Bristol Aquarium, returning for 2024.
Adults 18+ will be able to wander around the Aquarium after hours with a glass of fizz, and learn all about the animal facts that the Aquarium can't show the kids.
How does an Angler fish like its ladies? What happens in the love duel of a Flatworm? Just how dirty is a Dolphin? Nothing is off the table in the often rude and raunchy world of adult animal facts.
Customers will also be able to add on a 'Message in a Bottle' to their ticket to send a special message to their loved one.
Oliver Treasure-Smith, Marketing Manager at Bristol Aquarium said: “Our adults only Valentine’s event has proved hugely popular year on year and we are extremely excited to be bringing it back in 2024.
The Aquarium after dark truly is a magical place, and whilst we love having the kids through every day, it’s a very special experience when accompanied with a bit of peace and quiet."
Love at Bristol Aquarium lasts from 6pm – 9pm on the 14 February.
Bristol Aquarium is situated on the historic harbourside and takes visitors on an underwater adventure through the world’s oceans. For more information and to purchase tickets visit www.bristolaquarium.co.uk or call 0117 929 8929.
