Get ready to embark on a journey through time to the electrifying 80s with Propyard’s Winterland Roller Disco from Saturday 25 November to Saturday 23 December.

Transforming the St. Phillips warehouse into an iconic 80s Ski Lodge, visitors will soak up the atmosphere and energy of the pulsating 80s with live music and DJs that will have the whole chalet shimmying with the Christmas spirit.

Creating the perfect space for an off-piste night out, the Roller Disco will see guests dusting off their rollerblades (or using the ones for hire) and racing around the rink. Covering 400 square metres, solo-skaters, families and friends can prepare to enjoy the neon lights as they glide around under the disco ball to the soundtrack of disco-beats.

Taking it old school, anyone with a competitive streak can get stuck into some epic battles on Propyard’s collection of retro arcade games. For total nostalgia vibes, Winterlanders can relive the games of their childhoods or be introduced to games they’ve never even heard of including Pac Man and Street Fighter. From rollerblading and arcade games to Crazy (Snow)Boules and Winter Social DJ sets, tickets for each Winterland activity are available to book here. Entry to Winterland is free, but bookings for the roller disco and games are required. Entry to Winter Socials is £5 and includes a drink.

Adding to the wonderful-Winterland offering, Propyard is bringing back some stellar Winter Socials to seriously bring the cool this season. With a unique mix of old-school elements stemming from his days of pirate radio and modern production, UK producer GotSome will be bringing his bass-heavy dance floor bangers to the Ski Lodge. Disco and house DJ Ben Daley will be by his side on Saturday 25 November, before local legend Paul Bozak, also known as Paul Morrissey, will be playing on Friday 15 December. Known to hold it down behind the deck like no other, guests should get ready for his deep grooving disco dance anthems.

Presenting the best upcoming names and showcasing new talents, BBC Introducing star DJ Emma will be transporting club-goers back to summer with her disco, funk and house bangers on Friday 1 December. Cornish trio Hong Kong Ping Pong Club will take over on Friday 22 December - bringing beats, breaks, glitch, bass, amens, skank, swing, wobs, brass and all that jazz everywhere they go, leaving bladers wanting more.

Taking over Propyard every Thursday between , DJ X-Ray Ted will be filling the warehouse with party breaks, hip-hop and funk. With Craig Charles’ stamp of approval claiming that DJ X-Ray Ted is ‘one of my favourite DJs and producers’- this series of Winter Socials is not to be missed.

Propyard co-founder, Sam Watts, said: “Having such a diverse range of DJs taking to the decks this Winter is such a privilege. We pride ourselves on supporting upcoming talent, as well as those who are well-established. This paired with the return of Winterland is shaping this Winter up to be our best yet. After the success of last year, we wanted to transform the space again, this time with an 80s spin - and bring Christmas spirit to the city while providing quality entertainment for everyone to enjoy.”

It goes without saying that nothing brings people together like sharing a delicious meal, and that’s exactly what visitors will get at Winterland. The cosy lodge will be bursting with mouthwatering food, from Moving Mountain Hotdogs and an abundance of sweet treats to satisfy any cravings.

Private bookings for Propyard’s Winterland Ski Lodge are also available for corporate Christmas parties of up to 250 people. Head here to book.
