Location: Office in central Bristol (with hybrid working between office and home)

Visit West is the Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) for the area and also encompasses three Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), Bristol City Centre BID, Redcliffe & Temple BID and Broadmead BID, within its operations. The Bristol City Centre BID and the Redcliffe & Temple BID are jointly seeking an Events Project Manager for a parental leave cover position from the start of 2024. 

Our ideal candidate will be capable of working with others to deliver a high quality events programme for both the Business to Business and Business to Consumer markets within both BID areas. This is a hands-on role which requires a strong attention to detail, high standards of delivery and the tenacity and flexibility to overcome the challenges that event management can sometimes bring.

We are seeking a person with energy and passion for Bristol city centre and a track record in event management. BID industry experience is not a prerequisite for this role, we are looking for someone that can learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Collectively the two BIDs represent over a 1000 businesses within Bristol city centre and this role is all about developing and curating a highly valued programme of activity and events for everyone to enjoy.
