On Saturday 30 September, Fold My City invites children and their families to The Egg Theatre to create a large origami model city, inspired by their local area and community. In this FREE event - taking place as part of Bath Children’s Literature Festival’s Happiness Hub - participants can drop-in at any time between 11am and 4pm, to make their own large origami house, boat, car or local landmark; becoming part of an evolving installation.

Created by A Line Art, the event provides origami templates at a range of ability levels, with instructions and various sizes of paper, pens and crayons. Bespoke drawn templates are also created of local landmarks specific to each touring venue.

Once participants have made their origami creations they will be able to add their object onto a vinyl-drawn map of the local area, watching the installation grow over the day.

The original outing of Fold Your City was commissioned by Dance Umbrella and The Big Draw in 2017.
