Bristol Old Vic Theatre School is seeking a full-time assistant to join the School’s Student Support team on a full-time basis. The department provides a range of professional services to enable the School’s students to make the most of their opportunities and academic potential.
A key part of this work will be to manage welfare meetings and to assist with the School’s student support provision. You will work closely with the Student Support Manager to manage a busy caseload and to support the development of internal policies, procedures and guidance, ensuring they enhance the student experience. The successful candidate will have exceptional organisation skills and an ability to offer flexibility in their approach in order to provide administrative support to the department and to respond to unforeseen demands.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills and will be able to approach their work in a calm, patient and resilient manner. You will have an understanding of current developments relating to student wellbeing and disability support and will be adaptable to working in an area of rapid change in legislation.

Contract: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £26,000 per annum
