New Bristol food stories company, GOOD: Stories in Food, are thrilled to announce the launch of their Somerset wine and cheese tour. Hosted by food sustainability expert, Florence Pardoe, these deliciously unique food tours will take guests out of the city and into Bristol’s beautiful surrounding countryside, to meet some of the best
food and drink producers the region has to offer.
Visitors can expect to indulge in a delicious day of wine and cheese, visiting two of the regions best independent vineyards (Dunleavy and Limeburn Hill) for a deep dive into their wine, lunch at the
famous Salt & Malt, from a menu designed exclusively for the tour, a stop to explore Cheddar village, and a tour and tasting at the Cheddar Gorge Cheese Co.
Tickets are priced at £120 per person for direct bookings, with discounts for groups, and can be purchased via our website, or our partners at Yuup Bristol.
Founder of GOOD: Stories in Food, Florence Pardoe said:
“At GOOD we are passionate about sharing the inspiring stories behind outstanding food and drink businesses. I am thrilled to be bringing together four such businesses on this tour. Set against the
breathtaking backdrop of the Somerset countryside, it is sure to excite and nourish guests in body and soul.”
Ingrid Bates, owner of Dunleavy Vineyard said:
"We love being a part of Bristol’s thriving food and hospitality scene, and so we’re delighted to have the opportunity to bring visitors out of the city and connect them to the surrounding rural countryside. We’re keen for as many visitors as possible to understand more about the ethos and philosophy behind our wines, and this is a fun, delicious way to engage new customers.”
