The Francis Hotel Bath has launched an unforgettable hot air balloon experience for guests with a brand-new package in partnership with local company Fly Away Ballooning. Available between April – September, this amazing bucket-list experience gives guests a bird’s eye view across the historical city of Bath and beyond combined with an overnight stay at the four-star Francis Hotel.
Taunton based Fly Away Ballooning have been offering shared and private hot air balloon rides over Bath for over three years. Every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, flights ascend from Victoria Park, just a ten-minute walk from The Francis Hotel and guests will spend between 45 -90 minutes experiencing stunning panoramic 360 views of the low rolling hills and green river valleys of Bath. With transfers and briefings the whole experience lasts over three hours. As part of this package, guests can enjoy a two-night stay at The Francis Hotel including a delicious breakfast each morning.
Hugo Hall, Chief Pilot and Co-Founder of Fly Away Ballooning, comments: “When we were looking for a hotel partner in Bath, The Francis Hotel seemed like a natural fit for us. They are a much-loved part of Bath’s heritage and working hard to develop community and local relations. We felt that our experiences would really work well with the guests already visiting the hotel. And, there really is no better way to see the whole of the city than from the skies on a spring or summer morning or early evening”.
Perfect for locals, or those short on time, in addition to this short-break package, Fly Away Ballooning will also hand discount vouchers to all customers post-flight, to enjoy a meal in The Francis Hotel’s restaurant, Boho Marché.
The Francis Hotel’s ‘Fly Away Ballooning’ package starts from £330 per person, and is available until 30th September, with booking ending on 31st August. All bookings have to be made by phone via 01225 424105, with more information on the package available here. More information about The Francis Hotel Bath can be found through their website.
