Flourish Foodhall & Kitchen was nominated for two categories and scooped up the nation-wide award for the ‘Newcomer of the Year’.
The judges commented: “If you were going to open a business and put people at the heart of it this would be the inspiration. Their values and ideas are fantastic.”
Flourish opened mid-2021 as a people and planet focused place to eat and shop between Bath and Bristol. Offering fresh, locally farmed and made produce from the best quality local suppliers and a fantastic range of speciality food, Flourish was also created with sustainability in mind with refill stations, plastic-free fruit and veg and many other environmental initiatives including electric parking, solar power and AI technology to reduce food waste.
In 2022 they opened a new Home & Lifestyle store at Glenavon Farm with a dedicated space for locals to run and take part in arts and crafts workshops.
