The Great Bristol Run 2023 has opened for entries today.

The 10k and half marathon distances will both take place in the city on Sunday 14 May next year. Earlybird prices mean runners can get a 20% discount on the cost of their entry up until Tuesday 1 November 2022 at 10am.

The event will once again start on Anchor Road and take runners past some of the city’s most famous landmarks and along the vibrant waterfront, before a grandstand finish alongside Millennium Square.

Chief Executive of the Great Run Company, Paul Foster said, “We’re delighted to be able to stage the Great Bristol Run for the seventh time in 2023.

“The event is an incredible celebration of everything that is brilliant about Bristol and we’re looking forward to welcoming the community back to the start line next year.

“Whether you’re running for fun, to beat a PB or raising money for a worthy cause, you can reach your goal at the Great Bristol Run.”

Entries for the Great Bristol Family Run taking place on the same day are also open now.  The popular kids event gives budding runner their own big event experience complete with finisher’s medal.
