Major Bristol churches reflect on historical links with slavery during Black History Month

Bristol Cathedral and St Mary Redcliffe reflect on their respective efforts to respond to their historical links to the slave trade: the exhibition at the Cathedral for Black History Month.

Following the St Mary Redcliffe stained glass competition, they will now embark on their own research initiative to uncover the full extent of its links with the slave trade. These findings will provide material for new interpretation and form the basis of future exhibitions at the church.
