From Sunday 9 October 2022, the A1 Bristol Airport Flyer service will increase its frequency operating every 12 minutes between the Airport and City. The Bristol Airport Flyer provides transport links to the Airport 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The route travels through Bedminster, serving Bristol Temple Meads and Bristol Bus & Coach Station.
On the same day the A3 Weston Flyer service will extend it operating hours and will commence earlier each day to accommodate customer and colleagues travel to and from the Airport. The Weston Flyer links Bristol Airport to Weston-super-Mare railway station, Worle, Congresbury and Cleeve.
The changes to both services reflect the strong increase in customer demand being experienced.
Enhancements to the timetables will also provide a boost for employment opportunities for residents and ensure that all shift patterns are served by public transport to and from Bristol and Weston-Super-Mare with employees enjoying free travel on both services.
Liz Macnaughton, Commercial Manager – Ground Transportation, Bristol Airport, said:
“We are delighted to see the improvements to the timetables for both public transport services to and from Bristol Airport. These changes reflect the increase in demand for the Airport Flyer services and further demonstrate our commitment to providing alternatives to the car when travelling to and from Bristol Airport.”
