With the days getting shorter and the holidays drawing near, Bath is getting ready for Christmas. It’s almost time for festive decorations, wonderful gifts, delicious food, the Christmas Market, and Bath on Ice!

Bath on Ice is returning for its 10th year with a huge outdoor ice rink, allowing skaters plenty of space to learn to skate or show off their talents, just around the corner from the Christmas Market in Royal Victoria Park and right in front of the iconic Royal Crescent. This year, come and try out the brand new photobooth, or sample the new menu additions at Moguls Alpine Bar.

Spend a fun afternoon with your loved ones on 1000 square metres of ice, complete with lights and music!

The rink is less crowded on weekdays before the holidays start, so join in with Toddler Time on Weekday mornings! Bath on Ice offers 1 adult, 1 child and 1 skate aid for just £19 (usually £30.50). The offer is available Monday - Friday until 9 December 2022 and valid for the 11:45am and 1:00pm skate sessions!

If you're not a fan of skating, Bath on Ice's highly anticipated Glow Mini Golf will also be returning this winter, with the trees surrounding the 18-hole course wonderfully lit up with colourful lights and glow golf balls! Finish off your game of glow golf with a delicious Luxury Hot Chocolate and some sweet churros and hot Belgian chocolate sauce.

Moguls Alpine Bar is open from 10:30am until 10:00pm everyday this winter serving wood-fired pizzas, luxury hot chocolates, and a variety of holiday cocktails. The intimate ambience makes it a fantastic place to watch the skating while sipping on a delicious, mulled wine. Party packages are available for large groups, children’s parties, and school trips! Email iceskate@bathonice.com for further information.

Hour-long ice-skating sessions begin at 11:45am (10.30am on weekends and holidays), and the bar is open until 10pm.

Royal Victoria Park is just a short walk from Bath City Centre, and Park & Ride buses will stop just next door to Bath on Ice during the Christmas Market. If you're arriving by train, it's a brief stroll through the city centre. For drivers, the nearest car park is Charlotte Street.

Bookings are advised and can be made online at www.bathonice.co.uk/tickets
