American rap legend, Jay Electronica, will be taking to the stage at Marble Factory in Bristol on Friday 30 September, hosted by Bristol Beacon. Having collaborated with some of rap music’s biggest names, including Travis Scott, MF DOOM, Khruangbin and James Blake, Jay Electronica has earned himself a reputation as a rap myth and legend.

After more than 13 years of stand-alone singles and mixtapes, Jay Electronica released his debut full-length record in March 2020, ‘A Written Testimony.’
Jay Electronica’s latest release has been coined “a biblical album for biblical times, with enough human flaws to make it imperfect” by CLASH Magazine. The New Orleans-born rapper has cleverly combined his profound spiritualism and cerebral lyricism into his first full masterpiece which features eclectic production and stars the likes of Jay-Z, Travis Scott and The-Dream.
Returning to Bristol for the first time since 2015, where Jay Electronica previously performed at The Exchange, fans can expect this month’s show at Marble Factory to send shockwaves across the city, marking an unmissable moment for hip-hop music.
Todd Wills, Artistic Director at Bristol Beacon, said: “We are so excited to host one of the biggest rap and hip-hop legends right here in Bristol this September.
Having worked with some of the most iconic names in the industry, we are thrilled that Jay Electronica can join us for a night of incredible music which is set to send shockwaves through Bristol.”
Doors will open at 6:00pm, with the show expected to start at 6:30pm.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased on the Bristol Beacon website.
