The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on our working lives. Whether you have been in the office, on the shop floor or on furlough, it has highlighted the importance of looking after both your own and your employees' mental health.


Mind, the leading mental health charity, have released their key findings to a recent workplace wellbeing survey, where they asked employees how changes have affected their mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.

  • 41% said their mental health got worse during the pandemic.
  • People who worked on site and felt supported by their employer were least likely to report worsening mental health.
  • 77% of staff who did not feel supported by their employer said their job satisfaction got worse.
  • 44% of people who received mental health training felt more confident to look after their own mental health during the pandemic.

Developed in partnership with Mind, the programme is free to access for SMEs, private sector and VCSEs in the West of England, and includes a free a e-learning tool called ‘Managing Mental Health at Work’ and a range of interactive tools and training resources.
