2022 marks Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and Lucknam Park is set to fully embrace the once in a lifetime celebration with enthusiasm. For 2 - 5 June 2022, the hotel has curated a weekend of special activities to mark the milestone.
In true quintessentially English style, Lucknam Park will host an array of traditional, countryside pursuits around the 500-acre estate. Activities such as archery, horse and pony riding will be readily available, and suitable for both older, and younger guests. For the littlest Lucknam visitors, the hotel will act as a Palladian backdrop for a lifesize game of ‘King & Queen’. Fun-filled, creative crown making will set the tone for the festivities, whilst further royal themed arts and crafts sessions will be hosted throughout the long weekend in The Hideaway, a playhouse for children with interactive games for all ages. Also certain to entertain will be the horse and carriage rides along Lucknam Park’s magnificent mile-long avenue, framed by four hundred lime and beech trees, on Sunday 5 June.
Those looking to unwind during the Jubilee weekend can enjoy the walking routes around Lucknam Park’s blooming gardens, or follow the guided trails to discover hidden sculptures dotted around the grounds. Jubilee hampers will be prepared to order, should guests wish to picnic on their countryside adventures. Meanwhile, the royal celebrations continue inside the Palladian mansion with a series of art classes and a royal afternoon tea, served in a traditional style in the stately Drawing Room.
As night falls, guests can toast to Her Majesty during a decadent seven-course supper served in the Michelin Star Restaurant Hywel Jones, or in the Brasserie which serves an array of flavourful seasonal dishes.
Lucknam Park’s Platinum Jubilee offering starts from £1,352 for a two-night stay with breakfast and dinner included.
Available between 2 - 5 June 2022.
Jubilee picnic hampers, afternoon tea and horse rides are bookable on demand.
