Laszlo is afraid of the dark. The dark lives in the basement. It doesn't visit Laszlo in his room. Until one night it does. In a captivating and accessible new show, families can join Laszlo on his journey to confront and befriend his fear, and find out why the dark will never bother him again.
Peut-Être Theatre merge vibrant physicality with live music in their latest production for the whole family. The Dark is performed by Charlie Hendren and Ellie Isherwood and directed by Daphna Attias, Artistic Director of Peut-Être Theatre, with movement direction from Ayse Tashkiran.
The Dark is accessible for blind and visually impaired children with integrated audio description. Audience members can book in advance to join the Peut-Être Theatre company for a free Touch Tour of the set at 2pm, prior to the 3pm performance of The Dark.
Internationally renowned Lemony Snicket is the pen name of writer Daniel Handler, author of many children’s books including A Series of Unfortunate Events, a set of novels which have been translated into more than 40 languages. His book The Dark was published in 2013 with illustrations by Jon Klassen.
