With over 5,000 hotel rooms and eight new hotels opening and unveiling refurbishments in 2021/2022, Bristol has an abundance of accommodation options to suit all tastes, budgets and requirements.
As the hotel and hospitality sector starts to recover from the effects of the pandemic, Visit Bristol has launched a new campaign called #BristolHotelsWeek (starting Monday 7 February) to highlight the variety of places to stay in Bristol and special offers available to help boost bookings now.
The campaign focuses on 22 tips of where to stay and visit in the city this year, whether visitors want to try one of the newest hotels, stunning self-catering accommodation, a sustainable place to stay or somewhere that has perfect rooms for guests with accessibility needs.
As well as outlining where to stay under each tip, there are also links to limited-time and year-round special offers from hotels and accommodation partners in and around the city. You can marvel at the views of Clifton Suspension Bridge and save up to 30% on your room at Avon Gorge Hotel by Hotel du Vin if you extend your stay as part of their winter staycation package. You can get 15% discount on stays at any time at the elegant self-catering apartments at Beech House and Alison Court when using their special offer code during #BristolHotelsWeek. Or for families, kids get free accommodation and breakfast when sharing your room or you will get 50% off the second room if they stay in their own room at Mercure Bristol Grand, to name but a few offers available during the week.
#BristolHotelsWeek kicks off on Monday 7 February and will see Visit Bristol’s popular Twitter account, which has over 93,000 followers, dedicate a full week of tweets exclusively to the campaign. The campaign is backed up with new and engaging content focussing on where to stay on the Visit Bristol website.
Overseeing #BristolHotelsWeek, Jon Chamberlain, Head of Marketing for Visit West (which includes Visit Bristol) explains: “We are always looking for new and innovative ways to promote the wide variety of places to stay in and around the city. #BristolHotelsWeek gives us a chance to bring together the great special offers that are available at this time of year as well as showcasing year-round highlights. Whether you are looking for a special night with your Valentine, a family break at February half-term or a midweek get-away with your pooch, now is the time to stay in Bristol. And always book directly with the hotel for the best deals.”
