Bus passengers in Bristol and Bath can enjoy cut-price evening travel during the festive period, courtesy of First West of England

From next Monday (22 November 2021) First’s new single evening ticket promotion means people can travel for just £1 on any First Bus or metrobus service in the Bristol or Bath Zone excluding Brislington & Portway Park & Ride services, journeys to the airport, and journeys to/from Bath Park & Ride sites.

The £1 single evening ticket is available all week from 7pm until 4.29am, from 22 November up to and including New Year’s Eve. The £1 fare also applies to students, young people and children.

Designed to help support the local evening economy, it’s perfect for encouraging people to use public transport to enjoy Christmas markets or some Christmas shopping, works nights out and Christmas parties, or just drinks with friends, a date night or catching up with the family.

The special ticket is available on the First Bus app (found in the Bath Zone and Bristol Zone under a “Promotions” category) or from the driver (not on metrobus) - passengers need to ask for the £1 evening ticket as it is not available on Tap & Cap in the Bristol Zone.
