It is less than two weeks before the children will be home for October Half Term and John Wesley’s New Room offer a range of activities for the whole family.

Perfect for KS1 and KS2 age children, the jam-packed activity days offer the perfect opportunity to step Back In Time where young ones can discover wild wigs, make a Tricorn hat, dress up in 18th century costumes and explore Bristol's best kept secret museum.

KS3 children and young people are able to enjoy some of Bristol’s lesser known stories as costumed tour-guides bring the Museum to live in a brand new way, and there is a welcome opportunity to get up close to some of the museum items in dedicated handling sessions within the 18th Century Chapel.

Away from half term, October's Wes Talk gives adults the opportunity to discuss the topic of climate change and the importance and purpose of the COP26 summit for our future with the opportunity to learn and ask questions at the end.
